After School Creative Arts
(ASCA)
The After School Creative Arts (ASCA) program offers a great variety of FUN and UNIQUE afternoon classes!
Our classes are grouped by age and take place once/week. They are a perfect way for kids to explore a favorite activity or discover a new hobby.
ASCA is also the school’s largest fundraiser, and is 100% run by parent volunteers. Please consider supporting our PTO while your child enjoys an amazing after school class with their peers.
Registration closes Sunday, September 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET
ASCA Registration
The Fall ASCA session will run from September 28 to December 23, 2026, exclusive of holidays, early release days, and vacations. Registration will be open from September 13 to 21, 2026.
Registration begins Sunday, September 13 at 8pm. There will be NO ENROLLMENTS AND NO CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS after registration is closed. ASCA class cancellations due to weather are non-refundable.
ASCA Financial Aid Policy: Each eligible family, as determined by financial need status, may receive one $250 voucher per child per academic year. Vouchers are limited and allocated annually. To request financial assistance, please contact Principal Yadoff at yadoffj@newton.k12.ma.us by Thursday, September 10, 2026.
If a class does not meet the required minimum to run, we will be in touch with you towards the end of registration to either provide a refund or allow you to register for a different class.
